Mohamed Isa is a savvy executive with more than 20 years of business experience in different industries, including Consumer Goods, Real Estate, Investment Banking, FinTech, and Travel & Tourism. He gained this experience across the GCC. His functional expertise includes Finance, Investment, Business Development, Compliance, Audit, and Human Resources.
Before becoming a self-employed consultant, Mohamed was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of INOVEST for more than 11 years. During his tenure, he played an instrumental role in achieving several corporate milestones such as handling the company's Initial Public Offering, the cross-listing on different Stock Exchanges – In Bahrain & Kuwait, the rights issue, the corporate re-branding, and the corporate restructuring program. He was part of an executive team that took a company from a humble $63 Million to $528 Million in four years.
Mohamed started his career at the multinational giant – Unilever – in its offices in the United Arab Emirates and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. His last post with the company as Regional Finance Manager for North Africa, Middle East, and Turkey responsible for the Financial Management of the Top 5 Global Brands including Lux, Dove, Comfort, Lipton, and Fair & Lovely.
Mohamed passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Exams at Colorado State Board of Accountancy in the USA. He also holds a BSc in Accounting from the University of Bahrain and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the UK University of Hull. Further, the Chartered Management Institute (CMI-UK) granted him the Chartered Manager status. He is also a Fellow Member of the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM-UK).
